Morzine has 2 fantastic outdoor swimming pools, one which is olympic size. It’s a great place to spend a hot day lazing on the sun loungers or having a picnic on the surrounding grassy area. Children and adult swimming lessons are available from beginners to advanced and there is a variety of free entertainment including games to water tournaments.
Tennis – 14€ per court for 1 hour
Morzine boasts a total of 9 tennis courts including 2 clay courts, and if you want to warm up and practice before your game there are two training walls you can use to perfect your volley. Courts can be booked between 8am and 8pm and the club house also offer private tennis lessons for both adults and children.
Linderets Goat Village
Not just for kids, this spot makes a great day out. The goats roam free and are very friendly, especially when they think you have food! The hamlet itself has lots of charm and is dotted with small chalets, there is also a selection of restaurants you can stop in for a refreshing drink or a bite to eat.

Every Wednesday morning a charming traditional market assembles in Morzine for locals to sell their produce. Wandering through the stalls is a fantastic way to take in the atmosphere and bustle of a typical Savoyard market, and if you want to take a souvenir home there are plenty of things to tempt you: cheeses, cured meats and local handcrafts being typical favourites.

Horse Riding – €35/hr
Morzine’s equestrian centre is set in a leafy woodland by the river. They offer wonderful mountain excursions as well as a number of riding lessons. For the really small children, there is a petting farm attached to the centre, making sure they don’t miss out! Pony trekking is also available by the Lake in Montriond.

Alta Lumina is an enchanted night walk set in the forests of Les Gets. Open to all ages, enjoy the one-kilometre pathway where a story is told through lights, music, imagery, set design and interactivity.

Les Gets Lake
Nestled in the heart of Les Gets, the family-friendly “Lac des Écoles” swimming lake offers something for everyone from late June to early September. The free access lagoon area features lifeguarded swimming zones, a giant slide, and the ever-popular Wibit inflatable waterpark, boasting around 30–40 modules such as slides, trampolines, climbing walls, a blob (human catapult), and monkey cages—there’s even a safe KidsPark for ages 5–8 on a smaller course.
Nearby, kids and teens can burn energy on the pump track perfect for push bikes, skateboards, or scooters while fitness modules, beach volleyball, ping-pong tables, and play areas line the grassy shores
As the sun dips low, head to the bottom of the Chavannes lift area to the L’apres Ski Restaurant & Bar, where relaxed summer vibes take over.
