Canyoning will really get your heart racing as you leap down waterfalls, swim through mountain rivers and abseil into the water. Organised and accompanied by mountain guides you will be fully kitted out with wet suits, life jackets, helmets and rope equipment.
White water rafting – 50€ – 75€ (Min age 8yrs)
White water rafting is another great wet activity. Sail down the river through rapids in an inflatable boat, using your paddle to steer around the obstacles.
Hydrospeeding – 60€ – 95€ (Min age 12yrs)
Hydrospeeding is the same idea as rafting but there’s only you and a float to hold on to as you tackle the river’s rapids. Both activities are accompanied by professionals and all safety equipment is included. Frogs Rafting

One of the best sports out there, paragliding is the perfect way to take in the spectacular views over the whole of the Portes du Soleil. Morzine has two excellent golf courses nearby. The 9 hole course in Avoriaz (par 36) is perched on a plateau overlooking the Morzine valley, with a lovely view over the Aravis mountain range. The 18 hole course in Les Gets (par 70) has magnificent views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. A largely technical course it offers a spectacular view of Mont Blanc from the 7th hole.
