Morzine’s vibrant atmosphere and superb off-slope facilities ensure you’ll find it hard to run out of things to do, and with a variety of bars and restaurants, you can really take advantage of what the village has to offer.
Bars
There are so many great bars in Morzine it can be hard to know where to start. If you’re coming straight off the slopes then head to the Tremplin to listen to music as you watch everyone ski down the pistes.
Our personal favourite, the Bec Jaune Microbrewery, serves delicious homemade food and fantastic handcrafted beer. The Coup de Coeur has a cosmopolitan feel and you can enjoy a bottle of wine as you relax on their soft sheepskin covered chairs. Dixie’s is another popular bar; sport is shown regularly on the big screens and you’ll find the infamous Irish band ‘Dixie Micks‘ playing during the season.
Down the same staircase as the Tibetan café is the Cavern bar, a lively sports bar that really fills up late on in the evening…especially on one of their famous fancy dress nights! The Coyote bar and L’Opera nightclub are both next door and are fun options for drinking and dancing late into the night.
Restaurants
Food becomes a massive feature for your day when you are up on the mountain and after covering so much distance you’ll definitely need somewhere to refuel. Pomme de Pin in Les Linderets is a great place to meet for lunch because so many runs lead there. The cosy Vaffieu at the top of the Pleney has a great atmosphere and serves delicious food indoors and out.
If you want to sample one of the restaurants in the village, L’Etale has something for everyone, serving tasty pizzas to steaks and traditional French dishes. A lively place to eat, you can be sure they’ll be a great atmosphere.
Le Clin D’Oeil has a varied menu but also offers dishes from the South West of France, favourites are the delicious cassoulet and the confit duck in prune and armagnac sauce. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere with a large selection of wines..
