Rooms at Chalet Valambrun

On the first floor is the impressive master bedroom with its own Thermorossi stove to cosy up next to and an incredible glass floor with views of the swimming pool below. This room also has a fitted dressing room. The further four bedrooms are located on the second floor, one of which is a family suite with beautifully handcrafted triple bunk beds located off the main room. All are thoughtfully designed, each with their own unique look, using sumptuous wool and velvet throws, sheepskin rugs, Christian Lacroix and Ralph Lauren bedroom chairs and Andrew Martin furniture.

All bedrooms have the flexibility to be configured as either a Super king or two single beds and benefit from bedside USB sockets (Room 4 is the exception which is a double). For extra guests, there is a self contained room with a second set of beautifully handcrafted double bunk beds, the perfect solution for larger family groups.

Chalet Style & Spaces

Valambrun has been furnished to the highest of standards with brossé reclaimed wood used throughout. This warm, luxurious feel is enhanced with the use of handpicked soft furnishings creating a truly unique chalet. The ground floor is home to the fabulous heated pool* and spa area; the perfect place to unwind after an exhilarating day in the mountains. Choose from a soak in the outdoor cedar hot tub, a swim under a ceiling of twinkling lights, an invigorating steam, or perhaps just relax with a drink on one of the fluffy poolside loungers.

As you walk up to the first floor, you’ll be greeted by the magnificent open plan lounge and dining area. This space is flooded with natural light due to the fabulous floor to ceiling patio doors that open out onto the balconies. Well chosen pieces furnish this stylish open-plan space; a beautiful Andrew Martin reclaimed oak and chrome coffee table and a luxury linen L-shaped sofa surround the large roaring fire. The spacious kitchen is perfect for entertaining with a social island with seating, a Zip tap and two dishwashers. Chalet Valambrun has off street parking and is only a short drive to the Les Gets ski lifts (700m walk to the main Chavannes lift).

We had the absolute best stay in Chalet valambrun, we were a group of 15 (5 kids and 10 adults, there was plenty of space for all of us and something for everyone, the facilities are fantastic.

We booked with Jack and Jill and they could not have been more helpful, we couldn't have asked for more from our hosts Cece, Sophie and Paul, nothing was too much to ask, Paul's food was delicious there wasn't one bad meal and he was so accomodating for the kids, he even changed his plan for our final meal and did Raclette as we hadn't had one that week yet, they were so relaxed and welcoming we truly felt at home and loved our chats with them.

It would be a bit of a walk from the slopes with your kit but with the private minibus this wasn't an issue and the girls took us wherever we needed whenever needed.

Overall we loved it, such a great holiday and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Loved this place and location. So beautiful, and so much to do. We piled in, white water rafting, kayaking, swimming in a secret waterfall, horse riding, trekking and swimming in so many lakes. Also a day trip to top of Mont Blanc. Host was super helpful in organising, chalet a few minutes from the town and all you would want. Great stay.

Chalet Valambrun is an excellent place to stay for a ski holiday.. Made all the more better by the staff of Chef Richard, chalet host Charlie and D. These guys made the holiday for us.

Stayed in January 2023 as a family with young children. Obviously it has unrivalled facilities compared to other chalets in the area - the pool, hot tub, cinema room and yoga studio were all fantastic. Rooms comfortable too. We just found that the location on the main road meant it was very noisy all night when snowing. The constant clearing along the main road meant for disturbed sleep for those in the front facing rooms. The location is also definitely a drive from the main lifts if you have small children. We also wished there was a bath! We had a slight hiccup on booking where the agent offered a price then increased it by 3k which was not well received. If you’re booking it make sure you agree the price immediately. These points all meant it got 4 instead of 5 stars for us! We used Jack and Jill who otherwise were great. Quentin and Laura the 2023 team were great.

Situated in a great location, only 10mins walk to the slopes & centre of Les Gets or catch the ski bus just 50m from the chalet if preferred. The indoor swimming pool and the steam room are simply amazing after a long day on the slopes for those tired muscles and proved a huge hit not only with all the kids but with the adults too. Great ski & boot storage room with boot and glove dryers and well organised. Wonderful long dining table & well organised kitchen with a spacious living room area for the whole family. On suite bathrooms in every room and lovely comfy beds with underfloor heating throughout the chalet.
I can highly recommend this chalet, we had an amazing week there and will definitely be booking again next year!s
